Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Ex-forward of Zenit Artem Dzyuba again became the focus of media attention due to his arrival in Turkey, where one of the clubs had previously expressed interest in signing a contract with an athlete, reports "Championship".
It was assumed that the Russian will play for the Turkish club Adana Demirspor, which has more than 80 years of history. Moreover, the club already has experience of cooperation with the blue-white-blue clubs - the ex-teammate of Dziuba, Ukrainian Yaroslav Rakytsky, plays for him.
However, a photo published by Dziuba from Turkey plunged journalists into some stupor. The picture showed the home stadium of Besiktas, not Adana Demirspor, which offered a contract worth 1.5 million euros.
At the same time, Besiktas rejected assumptions about the intention to cooperate with the ex-forward of Zenit. The representative of the club said that they have no need for a new striker.
According to media reports, after leaving the St. Petersburg club at the end of May, the athlete wanted to play for Dynamo Moscow, but an agreement was never reached. For four years as part of Zenit, he played 55 matches, scoring a total of 30 goals and becoming the champion of the Russian Federation four times.
