Mini-Arab Summit: Egypt again at the head of pan-Arab unity

Greater Middle East (bbabo.net), - Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi welcomed King Abdullah II Ben Al Hussein of Jordan, King Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi at El Alamein Airport, Earlier, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Egypt. Al-Sisi warmly greeted the leaders of the countries with which Cairo has "special fraternal relations" and expressed deep respect for their authorities and peoples, noting that they traditionally play an important role in uniting the "fraternal Arab countries."

According to the source, during the meeting the parties exchanged views on key regional and international issues, as well as discussed ways to strengthen various aspects of bilateral relations. The leaders reaffirmed the importance of the unity of the Arab countries in countering the challenges and threats facing the region.

According to the Egyptian researcher, head of the Department of Political Science at the University of Suez, Gamal Salame, the meeting in New El Alamein became a "mini-Arab summit" in a new format.

The President and distinguished guests of Egypt also got acquainted with the key tourist sites of New El Alamein, including the Regal Heights resort.
