Russia (bbabo.net) - In Rostov-on-Don, deputies of the city duma approved the main financial document of the Don capital for the next year. The 2022 budget will be the largest in the history of the city and socially oriented.

As the head of the municipal treasury of Rostov-on-Don, Tatyana Asatryan, said at a meeting of the City Duma, the revenue part of the budget is 45.2 billion rubles. Moreover, 18.3 billion rubles will be our own income. The expenses were formed in the amount of 47 billion rubles.

It should be noted that in October 2019, when Alexei Logvinenko was only approved as head of the city administration, the task was to increase the municipality's own revenues to 15 billion rubles, and now the figures have increased by more than three billion rubles.

"I consider increasing the occupancy of the city treasury as one of my priority tasks. Since we all understand perfectly well that the more money goes to the budget, the more urban problems we can solve. It is very important for us that 70 percent of the expenses of the city treasury will be directed on the social sphere ", - stressed Alexey Logvinenko.

So, at the expense of the local budget, it is planned to increase the wages of all categories of teachers. The teacher's salary will increase by 50 percent. A new benefit will be introduced - a 50% discount on public transport for parents and guardians of disabled people from childhood, as well as early retirees.

The provision of free hot meals to all students in grades 1-4, children from low-income families and children with disabilities will continue. In addition, the implementation of large-scale social projects will continue.

"The construction of three schools is planned for 2022. Six more are awaiting overhaul. Two kindergartens for 300 places along Veresaeva Street and 65 places along Larina Street, a polyclinic department of city hospital No. 20, will be commissioned," said Logvinenko.
