Asia (bbabo.net), - Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi will visit Armenia and meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other officials, the American publication Politico reports, citing sources.

According to the newspaper, Pelosi will visit Armenia this coming weekend.

"Pelosi will travel to Armenia this weekend to show support for a country that is in a deadly battle with Azerbaijan," the publication reported.

The speaker of the US House of Representatives is expected to meet in Yerevan with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as other officials of the republic. It is noted that Pelosi will go on a trip with a member of the House of Representatives of Armenian origin Jaxie Speer (Democrat, California).
