The upcoming meeting with the Israeli prime minister will be the first since Erdogan met with former Israeli leader Ehud Olmert in 2008.

Israeli media reports that Lapid will also speak with newly minted British Prime Minister Liz Truss, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and UN Secretary General António Guterres.

Earlier, Turkey and Israel announced the normalization of their relations.
