Greater Middle East (bbabo.net), - Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said Lebanon expects its demands to be met in US-brokered border dispute talks with Israel. This was reported by the news portal "Lubnan-24" on September 18.
Nasrallah once again warned that Israel "will face a problem" if it starts extracting gas from the Karish gas platform.
The leader of the Lebanese Shiite faction delivered a lengthy speech in which he also praised the Hamas-Syria ties.
He added that Lebanon is waiting for its demands to be met, referring to a maritime border deal between Israel and Lebanon that is in the works brokered by the US.
“Lebanon has received a great opportunity, which may not be repeated, to overcome its crisis,” Nasrallah said.
He further noted that the production of gas from the Karish field is a "red line", adding: "We have given the negotiations a real opportunity to extract Lebanese gas…".
