Alain Delon will interview Volodymyr Zelensky

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The famous French actor Alain Delon will soon arrive in Kyiv and interview Volodymyr Zelensky, reports the French television channel TV5 Monde.

A few days ago, Delon met in Paris with the Ambassador of Ukraine to France, Vadym Omelchenko. The actor told the Ambassador of Ukraine that he is entirely on the side of the "heroic struggle of Ukraine against Russia." Delon's conversation with Omelchenko was covered by French TV journalists. Posing for the TV cameras, Delon read Taras Shevchenko's "Testament" in French. "Vive l'Ukraine libre!" (“Long live a free Ukraine!”), Delon concluded his performance at the Ukrainian Embassy in France. When the embassy staff escorted the actor to the car, Alain Delon read to them in French the poems of Paul Eluard, saying that he, Delon, dedicated these poems of Eluard to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Cultural Center in Paris is located in the mansion of Alain Delon, where the actor lived with the famous actress Romy Schneider in the 1960s. When Romy Schneider died in 1982, Alain Delon abandoned this mansion. After the Euromaidan, Alain Delon handed over this luxurious house to the Ukrainian Embassy. It should be noted that the Ukrainian Cultural Center is located in the most prestigious quarter of the French capital - in the Eighth (Elysee) district, in the same place where the Elysee Palace is located. The former house of Alain Delon regularly hosts events in honor of Euromaidan, where the French community holds "Ukrainian" banquets. These banquets are often attended by Alain Delon, who is now 86 years old. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine considers Delon a co-founder and eternal co-owner of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Paris.
