In addition to Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, other members of the government were also present, namely, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, head of the State Control Service Romanos Petrosyan, head of the Cabinet Office Arayik Harutyunyan.

Nikol Pashinyan spoke at the beginning of the meeting, after which he was asked questions.

“We were informed that a very frank conversation took place, and Pashinyan did not hide anything, presented in detail the current situation in the country. The deputies' concern about the current situation intensified after the meeting with the Prime Minister and his sincere and open words. The meeting was attended by almost all deputies of the State Duma faction. As in many other similar meetings, this time it was decided to have a conversation behind closed doors,” the opposition publication notes.

As bbabo.net reported, Nikol Pashinyan said on the evening of September 28 that Azerbaijan had carried out new attacks on the border, which were an attack on the sovereignty and democracy of Armenia.

According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, illegally located on the sovereign territory of Armenia, last Wednesday once again violated the ceasefire regime using mortars and large-caliber small arms, opened fire on the eastern direction of the border. As a result, three people died from the Armenian side. The military department of Azerbaijan denied accusations against them regarding the violation of the ceasefire regime, and pointed to one wounded Azerbaijani soldier as a result of shelling from the Armenian side.
