Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Within 10 days from the date of acceptance of new entities into Russia, the heads of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will receive the status of governors, they will be appointed by the President of the Russian Federation. This is stated in the resolutions on the recognition of agreements with the regions as corresponding to the Constitution of Russia on the website of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.

“The President of the Russian Federation, within 10 days from the date of admission to Russia of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, appoints an interim top official of the region - the governor,” the document states.

The government of the regions will be formed by the acting governor in "compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation."
