The Kremlin spokesman admitted that the heads of the Commonwealth would congratulate Vladimir Putin on his anniversary, "since they have known each other for more than one year."

“As a rule, the protocol never provides for this (congratulations). And often gifts are usually transferred through protocols. But, of course, all the same, everyone has known each other for more than a year or even more than a decade, they are familiar with each other, so they will probably wish happy birthday purely humanly, ”Peskov said.

He also noted that next Friday the head of the Russian state will have a busy working day.

Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev confirmed their participation in the informal CIS summit in the northern capital of Russia. Both Transcaucasian leaders are currently in Prague, where the first meeting of the European Political Community is taking place.
