The President of Kazakhstan held talks with the Vice President of China

Asia (bbabo.net), - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev on the sidelines of the VI summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) met with Vice President of the People's Republic of China Wang Qishan. This was announced today, October 13, by the press service of the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Welcoming the distinguished guest, Tokayev noted that China's participation in the CICA summit makes a significant contribution to strengthening trust-based partnership for the sake of peace, stability and security on the Asian continent.

The head of Kazakhstan expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for supporting the initiative to transform the meeting into a full-fledged international organization.

Further, the parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached following President Xi Jinping's state visit to Kazakhstan last month.

In turn, Wang Qishan conveyed to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev the greetings of the Chinese leader, noting that bilateral relations between China and Kazakhstan are developing dynamically in all areas.

The Vice President of the People's Republic of China stressed that relations between the countries are developing in the spirit of eternal friendship and mutual trust, and the agreements reached during Xi Jinping's visit to Kazakhstan are being successfully implemented.
