In his speech, he noted that China will oppose all forms of hegemony and brute force politics:
“China will contribute to building a community with a common future for mankind, firmly uphold international justice, adhere to and defend true multilateralism. We take a clear position against hegemony and power politics in any of their manifestations, we will unwaveringly oppose any unilateralism and protectionism.”
According to the Chinese leader, China is helping to build a new type of international relations. Beijing is actively involved in reforming and building a global governance system, Xi said, noting China's special role in the international fight against the pandemic.
“China will never play the role of hegemon and expand,” he stated.
Xi Jinping stressed that China firmly adheres to an independent and peaceful foreign policy.
The Chinese leader also said that the PRC strongly opposes all forms of hegemony and power politics.
