Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The draft resolution on the termination of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Iran has been sent to the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced on Tuesday, October 18, by a member of the Ukrainian parliament Oleksiy Goncharenko.

“I submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft resolution on the termination of diplomatic relations with Iran and its recognition as a state sponsor of terrorism,” a representative of the Ukrainian politicians wrote on his Telegram channel.

The MP added that the Rada is also invited to appeal to the UN, the European Parliament, PACE, NATO and other international organizations, as well as to the governments of third countries with a call to “recognize Iran as a country sponsoring terrorism and strengthen sanctions.”

He expressed hope that the Parliament of Ukraine would soon consider this project.
