The Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova gives a loan to Moldovagaz for payments to Gazprom secured by the gas transportation system.
The company receives $54 million in loans at 21.5%. The money must be returned by May 1, 2023.
In September, the volume of natural gas purchased by Moldovagaz amounted to 48.05 million cubic meters at a price of $1,882.78 per thousand cubic meters.
The total cost of the purchase is $90.46 million. Moldovagaz will pay 36.9 million from its own funds.
