Amid widespread instability, a confidential dialogue in the EAEU is important - Pashinyan

Belarus (bbabo.net), - Due to the current turmoil in the global economy, violations of supply chains, dialogue within the Eurasian Economic Union is especially important, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said today, October 20, at the opening of a meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the EAEU in a narrow format in Yerevan.

The world economy is going through hard times, many trade and economic ties that have just begun to recover after the Covid-19 pandemic are undergoing new shocks, the head of the Armenian government stated.

According to him, in the conditions of widespread instability, the demand for a confidential dialogue at the highest level is growing, for a more harmonious and coordinated interaction of the countries of the Union.

“Understanding mutual interests, readiness for compromises can be the key to resolving many issues,” Pashinyan stressed.

The Chairman of the Intergovernmental Council of the EAEU further noted the daily work of the executive bodies of the integration association to respond to emerging problems.

In conclusion, Pashinyan expressed gratitude to Kyrgyzstan, as the country currently chairing the EAEU, for developing a rich current agenda for the union.

In a narrow and expanded format, the heads of government of the EAEU countries will discuss the development of integration processes in the area of ​​the integration association.
