About 10,000 mobilized people have returned home in Russia to date

“To date, about 10,000 people have been returned across the country for various reasons,” he stated during a meeting in St. Petersburg with United Russia volunteers.

Recall that by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, from September 21, partial mobilization was announced in Russia. According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, it is needed to control the 1,000-kilometer line of contact and the liberated territories in Ukraine. During the mobilization, it is planned to call for a total of 300,000 reservists, which is just over 1% of Russia's total mobilization resource. On October 14, at a press conference in Astana, Putin noted that 222,000 out of 300,000 Russian citizens liable for military service had already been mobilized, and all mobilization activities would be completed within two weeks.
