The scale of damage on October 22 exceeds the consequences of the first strikes - Ukrenergo

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The strikes by Russian high-precision weapons on Ukraine's energy infrastructure that occurred on October 22 caused heavy damage to the entire energy system of the country.

This statement was made today by the Ukrainian energy company Ukrenergo. In its Telegram channel, the agency reported that the damage caused even exceeds that which was inflicted in the first days of the attacks.

The energy facilities of the main networks in the western regions of Ukraine were especially affected.

“The scale of damage is comparable to or may exceed the consequences of the attack on October 10-12,” the report says.

It is noted that repair teams will be able to start restoring the affected facilities only after the rescuers eliminate the consequences of missile hits.

It is also reported that in order to reduce the load on the networks, power supply restrictions were forced to be applied in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk and Kirovograd regions.

As bbabo.net reported, last night and in the morning an air raid alert was announced in many regions of Ukraine. We are talking about Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv and Dnepropetrovsk regions.

The blows were delivered in the city of Zaporozhye. Sirens sounded in the Nikolaev and Odessa regions, as well as in Kyiv. In some regions, the air raid alert was announced several times.
