The new Political Committee of the Politburo headed by Xi Jinping included: head of the Shanghai CPC City Committee Li Qiang, secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC Zhao Leji, chief ideologue Wang Huning, head of the Beijing city committee of the CPC Cai Qi, head of the Chancellery of the CPC Central Committee Ding Xuexiang and head Guangdong Provincial Party Committee Li Xi.
