Poland is losing information war between Russia and Belarus - Polish opposition

Belarus (bbabo.net), - Polish politicians on December 19 in the "Rymanovsky's Breakfast" program on the Interia portal commented on the consequences of the flight of the soldier Emil Chechko to Belarus.

A deputy from the ruling Law and Justice party, Piotr Zvik, said:

"The thing must be called by its name, this is not an escape, this is desertion ... We must analyze the process of sending soldiers to serve on the border."

Zwick also referred to the words of the former commander of the Polish land forces, General Waldemar Skshipchak, who called for the execution of the soldier Emil Chechko, who fled to Belarus. At the same time, the deputy called the soldier a man "lost in life and in his tasks."

MP from the opposition Civic Platform Grzegorz Schetyna condemned the soldier:

"Such a person should not be in the army, but, above all, should not serve at the border, in such a place."

He added that he expected full disclosure in this matter:

“… there may be other similar situations - the system did not work, there was no fuse. This is embarrassing. ”

Leftist deputy Wlodzimierz Chazhasty in his speech drew attention to the fact that Belarus is the winner in this situation:

“Belarus triumphs ... What he (the Polish soldier) says is his business. The problem is that Belarus will cut someone down, someone will add, and Poland will appear in an unfavorable light. ”

Deputy from the Civil Platform Piotr Zgorzelsky criticized the activities of the Military Counterintelligence Service:

“If this service worked effectively, this would not have happened ... Many will believe the absurdities that the soldier says. His words will be manipulated. ”

According to the deputy, Poland "is losing to Belarus on the propaganda front." However, Zgorzelski believes that other forces are also at work in the information war against Poland:

“On the other hand, Russia Today, CNN, they are broadcasting such nonsense that is spreading all over the world. They say that we provoke a third war, just like the second, that in camps for migrants it is worse than in concentration camps ... Today Belarusian society is crushed by a dictator, and we are paying the price for being the first to take the side of democratic elections. ”

According to the deputy from Law and Justice Radoslaw Vogel, the words of the escaped soldier "can be believed by those who believed that someone in the icy water sailed from Belarus to Poland or Germany for six days."

Krzysztof Bosak, MP from the Confederation of Freedom and Independence, spoke about Poland's weakness in the information sphere:

“People outside Poland do not need to be interested in conflicts in Eastern Europe.”

According to him, Poland does not work effectively enough in the English-speaking segment:

“Our voice in English is currently a poorly recorded voice of a secret service representative ... I regret to say that the materials made by the Russian or Belarusian side seem to be more professional than the materials made by our government. and this is a drama in this situation ... Unfortunately, we are losing the information war. ”
