Belarus (bbabo.net), - Belarus and Iran must respond to economic terrorism. This was announced today, on October 26, by Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei during his official visit to Tehran.
“In fact, here I also agree with the logic of Mr. Minister (Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian - bbabo.net), there is economic terrorism against our states. Of course, we must work together to develop adequate measurespond to such acts of economic terrorism,” he said.
Makei also stressed that Minsk, like Tehran, opposes sanctions, which are illegal and go beyond the norms of international law.
“First of all, the pressure of sanctions damages the economies of countries and ordinary citizens, contributes to the growth of tension,” the Belarusian minister said.
He also expressed confidence that the agreements reached during today's meeting "will contribute to the realization of existing opportunities for the development and strengthening of long-term strategic partnership between our countries."
Recall that earlier the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko noted that Minsk and Tehran "need to stick together in order not only to survive, but to take their place under the sun." In turn, Tehran also advocates the lifting of any sanctions, considering them illegal.
