Muslims in the US state of Michigan spoke out against the immoral content of children's literature available in school libraries.

In the children's libraries of Dearborn, Muslim parents were horrified to find books with obscene illustrations and stories containing detailed descriptions of gay sexual acts and other information that is harmful to the child's psyche.

“We don’t see educational value in these books,” the parents of Dearborn schoolchildren were outraged.

Muslim families showed up en masse at the school board meeting with placards in their hands, demanding that immoral literature be removed from the libraries. They were confronted by a gay man who stated that "books about LGBT people do not make people gay," but this argument did not sit well with believers seeking to protect their children from propaganda of immorality.
