Asia (bbabo.net), - Any attempt to prevent Taiwan's reunification with the mainland will be defeated by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Chinese Ministry of Defense Tan Kefei, reports today, October 27, Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

“Any plan to somehow prevent the reunification of China (with Taiwan) will fail,” he said.

Tan Kefei urged the US to stop provocations related to Taiwan.

Earlier, Chinese State Council spokesman Ma Xiaoguang said that Beijing does not guarantee that it will not use military force against Taiwan. At the same time, he stressed China's commitment to settling the Taiwan problem peacefully and adhering to the "one country, two systems" principle.
