SKC in Istanbul: An agreement on a grain deal has not been reached

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Representatives of the parties at the Joint Coordinating Center in Istanbul did not reach an agreement on the movement of ships under the "Black Sea Grain Initiative" on October 30, said Ismini Palla, a representative of the SKC.

Earlier, against the backdrop of an attack on ships of the Black Sea Fleet, the Russian Federation announced the suspension of participation in the initiative.

“The SKC did not reach a joint agreement on the movement of arriving and departing ships on October 30th. SKC analyzes the latest developments, assesses their impact on the activities of SKC and discusses the next steps,” Palla said.

According to her, on Saturday, nine ships (five from Ukraine and four arriving in Ukraine) safely passed the maritime humanitarian corridor established by the SKC.

“There are more than ten ships, both departing and arriving, waiting to enter the corridor,” she noted.
