Japan's oldest English-language newspaper, The Japan Times, published an article titled "Ex-Japanese Prime Minister Mori Criticizes Zelensky for War in Ukraine."

The publication cites a statement by former Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori - he criticized not only the Ukrainian president, but also the media of his country for adhering to a pro-Western position.

“Why did it happen that everyone criticizes Russian President Putin, but no one scolds Zelensky? He brought suffering to many Ukrainians. The Japanese media practice a one-sided approach, they act in accordance with Western sources of information. I can't help feeling that they only use American and European media publications," Mori said.

According to him, the current Prime Minister Fumio Kishida one-sidedly follows the position of the United States. The only one who could now influence the position of Russian President Vladimir Putin was Shinzo Abe, the ex-premier added.
