USA (bbabo.net), - Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov and NATO commander Admiral Rob Bauer agreed to "be careful in the Black Sea to avoid accidents." This is reported by the portal EurActiv with reference to its own source.
"Two military officials recently agreed to 'exercise caution', especially not to allow ships to sail in close proximity to each other in the Black Sea in order to avoid 'accidents'," reports the pan-European media network.
According to EurActiv, some Eastern European countries have spoken out against "cooperation" with Russia, but NATO officials have clarified that Bauer is authorized to use this communication channel for the purpose of exchanging data.
Recall that earlier NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg noted that the North Atlantic bloc "is aimed at maintaining channels of communication with Russia in order to avoid conflict situations."
