First exit poll in Kazakhstan: Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gains 82.45%

Kazakhstan state television channel has published the results of the first exit poll for the presidential elections in the country, Stan-Center telegram channel reports.

The current president of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is gaining 82.45%.

In second place - "candidate against all" with 5.2% of the vote.

As bbabo.net reported, a total of six people participated in the November 20 elections. Early presidential elections in Kazakhstan were held according to the country's updated constitution. The head of state is elected for one seven-year term without the right to re-election. The column "Against all" in the voting ballot was also an innovation.

The turnout in the presidential elections in Kazakhstan, according to preliminary data, was 69.43%. The first election results from the CEC are expected on the morning of November 21.
