This was stated by the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia.

According to Tskhinval, such provocations cast serious doubt on the democracy of this organization.

“The European Union, created at one time to strengthen the unity of the peoples of Europe, today has become a tool for imposing double standards,” the Foreign Ministry said.

The next unfriendly steps of the European countries, openly supporting Georgia's policy of international isolation of citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia, will not be able to stop the progressive development of our state, the department stressed.

Despite the adopted restrictions, South Ossetia remains open to equal interaction with all democratic countries of the world, the RSO Foreign Ministry assured.
