Turkey strikes US headquarters in Syria

Greater Middle East (bbabo.net), - Turkish armed forces attacked the headquarters of American forces in Syrian Hasakah. This is reported by the Iranian News Agency (IRNA) with reference to the Turkish media. According to sources, Turkish army fighter jets attacked the headquarters of American troops in Hasaka. These US forces are reportedly responsible for training Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) troops in the locality.

As bbabo.net reported, when asked if Turkey had alerted Russia and the US to the military operation, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said: “We have not had any conversations with (US President Joe) Biden or (Russian President Vladimir) Putin regarding this operations. However, both Biden and Putin already know that we can do such things in this region at any time.”

Moreover, the head of the communications department of the Turkish presidential administration, Fahrettin Altun, accused the West of trying to destabilize Turkey by supporting terrorist organizations.
