Asia (bbabo.net), - Twelve financial institutions from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan have connected to the Russian system of fast payments (FPS). This was announced at the conference of the Association of Russian Banks by the representative of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Oleg Perestenko, reports today, November 24, IA 24.kg.
“Since July of this year, the possibility of cross-border transfers through twelve foreign banks has been implemented,” he said.
According to Perestenko, the first trial cross-border transfer through the SBP took place in early July. The client sent a transfer for one thousand rubles from the Russian bank "Heiss" to the Kyrgyz MBANK. The operation was carried out in rubles with conversion into the national currency on the side of the recipient bank.
On November 17, the Bank of Russia established a commission for banks in the amount of 6 rubles for cross-border transfers of individuals through the FPS. The changes will take effect December 19. The amount of the commission will be fixed regardless of the transfer amount.
