Addressing the participants of the event, Erdogan noted that from the first day of the crisis, Ankara has been striving to resolve the contradictions and stop the bloodshed in Ukraine. “Thanks to close friendly relations with the leaders of both countries, we were able to organize various meetings on Ukraine. The grain deal and the exchange of prisoners between the Russian Federation and Ukraine proved the possibility of a diplomatic settlement of differences,” Erdogan stressed.
The politician expressed the hope that the extension of the grain deal from November 19, 2022 for 120 days will help the people of African countries overcome problems in the food sector.
