It is reported that such a statement was made at a telephone briefing on the upcoming December 1 talks between US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron, which will discuss the theme of a free and secure Indo-Pacific region.
On November 29, Macron will travel to the United States for a five-day visit for talks with Biden.
