The man, according to the State Bureau of Investigation, cooperated with the Russian special services and passed them information about the movements and facilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Odessa.

“A resident of Odessa was found guilty of treason, collaboration and kidnapping. The court sentenced him to 15 years in prison,” the SBI said in a statement.

The Ukrainian security forces said that the man "recruited former Ukrainian law enforcement officers for subversive activities against the country."
