A bomb exploded in a madrasah in northern Afghanistan: 35 dead, many injured

Greater Middle East (bbabo.net), - Today, November 30, in the city of Aibak, the center of the Afghan province of Samangan (bordering the provinces of Balkh, Kunduz, Bamiyan and Baghlan), an explosion occurred that claimed the lives of at least 35 people. Another 23 were injured, reports TOLOnews.

The incident occurred during midday prayers at the local Al-Jihadi Madrasah. Most of the victims of the explosion are students. Now the process of removing the bodies of the dead and evacuating the injured from the building is underway. What caused the explosion is not specified.

Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafi Takor tweeted that 10 students were killed and dozens injured. Now the security forces are making efforts to identify those responsible for the explosion.

Although no one has yet taken responsibility for the attack, the terrorist group IS (the organization is banned in the Russian Federation) usually takes responsibility for the majority of other similar “operations” in mosques.
