Asia (bbabo.net), - More than ten Chinese military aircraft and drones have been spotted by the Taiwanese military in the area adjacent to the island in the past 24 hours. This was announced today, November 30, by TASS with reference to the daily report of the Taiwanese defense department.

“Today, as of 06:00 (01:00 Moscow time — approx. bbabo.net), 13 aircraft and three PLA ships were found around Taiwan,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

According to the Taiwanese military, two J-11 fighter jets and a BZK-005 high-altitude long-range drone entered Taiwan's air defense identification zone in the southwestern area. In response, an air patrol was raised and anti-aircraft missile systems were deployed.

Since Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi visited Taipei in early August, the Chinese army has been regularly conducting maneuvers near Taiwan.
