As a result of a sociological study, it turned out that the confidence of Americans in their own army has rapidly collapsed to 48 percent this year, while in 2018 this figure was 70 percent.

Most of the respondents indicated that they changed their position due to the overly "politicized" army leadership, as well as because of "progressive" practices, the TV channel reports.

It is noted that only six percent of the Americans surveyed declared their desire to serve in such an “updated” army. The TV channel stated that this trend has not been slow to manifest itself in practice.

“The Pentagon has a serious recruiting problem, and part of this may be due to the fact that many Americans are losing faith in the military,” the story says.
