Turkey states failure of Western-centric world system

Greater Middle East (bbabo.net), - Head of Communications of the Turkish Presidential Administration Fahrettin Altun at the international summit on strategic relations called for a joint fight against the flow of disinformation. It is reported by TRT News on December 2. According to him, the West is building a world system in which it is trying to put itself in a superior and privileged position.

“They believed that there would be no more wars, conflicts, crises, the whole world would live in stability. In the world order, in which the central position was to be occupied by the West, under the domination of liberal capitalism. However, this did not happen,” the Turkish politician stated.

According to him, in an era of global uncertainty, Turkey, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is making every effort to become a stabilizing force in the world. Fahrettin Altun noted that Turkey has become an example for most countries of the world thanks to its initiatives in the field of military-industrial complex, humanitarian aid and healthcare.

The opening ceremony of the summit was attended by Anadolu Agency General Director Serdar Karagoz, TRT General Director Mehmet Zahit Sobaci, local and foreign experts.

Earlier, Altun accused the West of trying to destabilize Turkey through support for terrorist organizations: “Our Western allies should carefully and thoroughly think about their support (meaning support for Kurdish organizations recognized by Ankara as terrorist organizations). They are directly or indirectly trying to destabilize the situation in our country…”.

In turn, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused the international community, politicians and media of hypocrisy for not properly responding to the terrorist attacks in Turkey and called for an end to shedding “crocodile tears”: “When it comes to Turkey, apart from reports of condemnations like crocodile tears, neither politicians, nor public organizations, nor the media make any significant fuss about this.”
