USA (bbabo.net) - American businessman Elon Musk, who owns the social network Twitter, has provided evidence that the US authorities forced the former leaders of the social network to carry out censorship.
The billionaire published the corresponding statement on December 3 on his own Twitter account.
The post consists of a single word, "Let's get started...", and a link to an exposé by journalist Matt Taibbi, which relies on internal company documents.
The publication, among other things, contains scandalous information about the history of the laptop of Hunter Biden, the son of US President Joe Biden.
The journalist claims that Twitter has taken emergency measures to hide the story by removing links and posting warnings that the content may be "unsafe".
“They even blocked direct transmission via messages, and such a tool is only for exceptional cases, for example, in relation to child pornography,” the author of the article claims.
He concludes that the social network thus used prohibited tools to control freedom of speech.
Taibbi also stated that the account of any Twitter user (not excluding celebrities) could be deleted by political order.
