The Czech Republic began to prepare the Ukrainian military to be sent to the front

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Military from Ukraine began training in the Czech Republic. This was announced on December 4 by the Chief of the General Staff of the Army of the Czech Republic, General Karel Rzehka.

“Ukrainian soldiers are already in the Czech Republic in the Libava military zone for planned exercises,” he said.

In turn, the communications director of the Czech Ministry of Defense, David Jares, noted that "the Ukrainian military is in the Czech Republic for joint exercises, which were approved by the government on November 9."

“They helped prepare the continuing education that is now starting in accordance with the mandate passed by the Parliament of the Czech Republic,” he said.

At the same time, the Czech Defense Ministry added that they could not comment on the details, that is, the exact number or date of arrival of soldiers, for security reasons.

Recall, on October 17, the European Union approved another assistance to Ukraine aimed at training its soldiers on the territory of member states. More than half of the EU members have already expressed an interest in joining the programme. In the Czech Republic, training will take place until the end of next year in five four-week shifts, each of which will involve up to 800 military personnel.
