Armenia handed over the remains of ten people and two maps to Azerbaijan

Caucasus (bbabo.net), - Armenia handed over to Azerbaijan the remains of 10 victims of the presumably first war in Karabakh (1991-1994), reports today, December 5, the National Security Service (SNB) of the republic.

The transfer took place last week.

“On December 1, the Armenian side handed over to the Azerbaijani side the remains of 10 people who allegedly died during the first Karabakh war, as well as two maps indicating the possible location of four bodies,” the NSS said in a statement.

It is noted that since November 9, 2020, the end of the 44-day war, the Armenian side handed over to Azerbaijan 5 maps and the remains of 140 victims of the first war in Karabakh.

As bbabo.net reported, at the end of last month, Azerbaijan handed over to Armenia the bodies of thirteen Armenian servicemen who died during the fighting on the border of the two republics on September 13-14, 2022.
