In Poland, Kyiv's claims about paid debts for military assistance were called a lie

Ukraine (bbabo.net), - Warsaw was outraged by allegations in the Ukrainian media that Ukrainian migrants, with their labor and taxes, more than compensated for the military and financial assistance that Poland provided to Kyiv during the Russian special operation.

The columnist columnist Marek Troyan writes about the falsity of this statement in his article for the Polish edition of Kresy.

As an illustration of Ukrainian lies, he cites an infographic that was previously published by the UNIAN agency. It follows from it that the amount spent by Ukrainians in Poland for the year fully pays for military assistance from the Polish authorities.

“Ukrainians in Poland paid almost as much taxes as Poland spent on helping them,” the Ukrainian edition sums up.

The infographic indicates that Ukrainians spent 2.14 billion euros, while all financial assistance to Kyiv from Warsaw amounted to 2.94 billion euros.

“The published infographic contains false data and is clearly propaganda in nature,” Troyan states.

He noted that the Ukrainians had already “forgotten” that Poland sent military aid to the Kyiv regime in the amount of more than three billion euros.

The author of the material also recalled, referring to the ECD agency, that Warsaw has also spent 8.36 billion euros on the maintenance of Ukrainian refugees. The very ones who allegedly “compensated” the costs of them with their taxes.

All these costs are a heavy burden on the Polish budget, so the country's authorities now plan to charge Ukrainian refugees after four months in public housing.

True, the innovation will not affect the elderly, the disabled and pregnant women. Once approved by Parliament, the new rules are expected to apply from 1 March 2023.

Earlier, bbabo.net reported that in Krakow, a family of Ukrainian refugees seized the apartment of a Pole who sheltered them. The tenants barricaded themselves in the room, so they had to be evicted with the help of firefighters and the police.
