Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The most difficult situation with the provision of electricity by Wednesday evening was observed in eight regions of Ukraine, including Kiev. This was stated by President Vladimir Zelensky.
“As of this evening, the most blackouts [of electricity] are in Kyiv and the [Kyiv] region, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Poltava, Vinnytsia regions and Transcarpathia,” he said in a video message published on the Telegram channel.
Zelenskiy also claims that scheduled power outages continue in most cities and regions of Ukraine. According to him, it is currently impossible to fully restore the country's energy system.
Earlier on Wednesday, the press service of the Ukrenergo energy holding reported that a significant deficit remained in the energy system of Ukraine. On December 6, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, speaking at a government meeting, said that the shortage of electricity in the networks of Ukraine is 19%, and power outages for consumers will continue.
