Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The Government of the Czech Republic approved the donation of 70.7 million crowns (about 2.8 million euros) to Ukraine and Afghanistan. This was announced on December 7 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Jan Lipavsky.
According to him, 50.7 million crowns (about 2 million euros) will be sent to Ukraine at the suggestion of the Czech Foreign Ministry. Of this amount, 30.7 million kroons (about 1.2 million euros) will be received by the Ministry of Health for the needs of providing mobile medical care - an ambulance bus, two mobile medical units and a sanitary tent. The remaining funds will be transferred to the city council of the city of Znamenka in the Kirovograd region to provide internally displaced persons with mobile housing during the winter months. Afghanistan will receive 20 million crowns (about 500 thousand euros) through the UN fund to cover the urgent needs of the population.
Recall that the Czech Republic strongly condemns the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. Prague provides all kinds of assistance to Kyiv, including weapons. In addition, the Czech authorities demand from the EU to increase sanctions pressure on Moscow.
