Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, provided evidence that Berlin and the collective West, under the guise of the Minsk agreements, pumped Ukraine with weapons, preparing a decisive blow against Russia.
In her telegram channel, the diplomat on December 8 cited an excerpt from an interview with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel for Die Zeit that was released yesterday:
“The 2014 Minsk Agreement was an attempt to give Ukraine time. They used this time to become stronger, which can be seen today. The Ukraine of 2014/15 is not today's Ukraine. As we could see during the fighting in the Debaltseve area in early 2015, (Russian President Vladimir) Putin could have easily captured them then. And I doubt very much that the NATO countries could then have done as much as they are doing now to help Ukraine. It was clear to all of us that this was a frozen conflict, that the problem had not been resolved, but that was precisely what gave Ukraine precious time.”
As Zakharova emphasized, Merkel's words are proof that "Berlin, and, accordingly, the entire collective West was not going to comply with the Minsk agreements."
“The West imitated adherence to the Security Council resolution, but in reality pumped up the Kiev regime with weapons. Ignored all the crimes that were committed by the Kyiv regime in the Donbass and Ukraine, in the name of a decisive blow to Russia, ”concluded the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
