Putin and Aliyev checked on tripartite agreements: unrest in Karabakh

Caucasus (bbabo.net), - Today, December 12, Vladimir Putin discussed with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev the implementation of trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Kremlin press service reports.

“Some practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021 and October 31 this year, including plans to restore economic and logistical ties in the South Caucasus, were discussed,” the report says.

Apparently, during the conversation between the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, the latest developments in the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh, including the Lachin corridor, were considered.
