According to him, he supports the government's assistance to Ukraine.

“Although some call me a Russian agent, I believe that we should stand in solidarity with the attacked ... Economic interests in this case should give way to security interests,” he said, adding that assistance to Ukraine should not be limited.

At the same time, Zeman said that his initial opinion about Russian President Vladimir Putin was erroneous.

“I saw in him a politician who cares about the interests of his country. The aggression was against the interests of the Russian Federation. If he didn’t realize it, so much the worse for him,” Zeman said.

Recall that Prague condemns Moscow's actions in Ukraine. The Czech Republic provides assistance to the Kyiv regime, including the supply of weapons. Previously, Milos Zeman had a positive attitude towards Russia and Vladimir Putin.
