Corridor blocked: hundreds of citizens stuck on the road between Armenia and Karabakh

Caucasus (bbabo.net), - The Lachin corridor connecting Armenia with Nagorno-Karabakh remains closed at the entrance and exit, dozens of cars have accumulated at the site.

According to the Armenian side, at 14.00 (13.00 Moscow time) on Monday, hundreds of citizens were stuck in the Lisagor-Shushi and Stepanakert-Shushi sections, which Azerbaijani activists closed on the morning of December 12.

In the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh, they say that the Azerbaijani side, having grossly violated the trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, reached after the 44-day war in the region in the fall of 2020, once again violates the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Karabakh Armenians.

As bbabo.net reported, a few hours ago, Azerbaijani activists pitched tents on one of the sections of the Goris-Stepanakert road linking Armenia with Nagorno-Karabakh, putting forward demands to the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent to stop "ecological terror" in the region.
