According to the agency, in the first 11 months of this year, the output of the mining industry increased by 7.6% year, in the manufacturing sector - by 3.3%, and in the industry of production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water - by 4%, eight%.

Production of new energy vehicles in November rose by 60.5% year. At the same time, the production of solar panels increased 68.6%.

"The trend of transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure in China has not changed," said Tang Weiwei.

He added that China expects an accelerated recovery of the industrial economy as the implementation of optimized measures for the prevention and control of Covid-19 and the effectiveness of measures to stabilize the economy.

The Industrial Value Added Index is used to measure the activity of large enterprises, each with an annual business income of at least 20 million yuan (about $2.88 million).
