Ukraine (bbabo.net), - The Czech Republic, in its presidency of the EU, will do everything to resolve the issue of providing assistance to Ukraine. This was announced today, December 15, by Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala
“We will do everything so that the negotiations on the energy package and what concerns assistance to Ukraine are completed successfully,” he said before the start of the European Union summit.
At the same time, Fiala noted that the negotiations are extremely difficult.
Recall that at the summit in Brussels, EU leaders are trying to resolve the issue of limiting energy prices and reforming the energy market. In addition, there is a debate about support for Ukraine. On the evening of December 14, Poland refused to support agreements on the allocation of macroeconomic assistance to Kyiv in the amount of 18 billion euros in 2023 and a global 15% tax for large transnational companies.
