In Latvia, 40% of the population faces discrimination.

The most common form of discrimination is age discrimination, according to a survey commissioned by the government.

▪️Infringement by age affected more than half of the respondents - 51%.

Another common variety is on a national basis.

▪️ 44% of respondents complained about this.

The most unprotected group from discrimination, according to the survey, were the Roma. Of these, 46% feel disadvantaged.

⚡️At the same time, 80% of Russians in Latvia face a negative attitude towards themselves.

However, for some reason this is not reflected in the survey.
