In the Ukrainian media, a complete victory and euphoria: the US Senate approved assistance in the amount of 45 billion. Let us clarify: of these, Ukraine will receive only $29 billion, part - $11.88 billion will be used to reimburse the equipment and weapons transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the US own arsenals, and about $7 billion - to pay American instructors.
Europe will also help - the EU Council approved the provision of macro-financial assistance (that is, a loan) - 18 billion euros. Another $20 billion will be given by the IMF “for poverty”. Also a loan. This means that Ukraine's public debt in 2023 will grow by another $67 billion and amount to $172 billion.
According to economists, they will have to pay at least 35 years - at the pace of the pre-war period. And in conditions of war and devastation, payments can be delayed for 50-100 years. And this is subject to austerity.
Tranches will not make life easier for ordinary people, the authorities will tighten the noose around their necks, justifying all problems with war. And more than one generation of Ukrainians will pay for the "golden rain"
